Valve Has Finally Decided to take off the Paid Mods Feature from Their Steam Workshop

One of the members of the Valve team has stated they will be taking off the controversial paid mods feature from the Steam Workshop. Inside their newest post, Alden Kroll, Valve staff member agreed with the fact that the feature will be eliminated & all the users who have already paid for the feature will get a complete refund.

He said, “The major reason we had to take this step is because we did not know what we were actually doing. We have been delivering a number of features since a long time in order to let community creators to get a part of the prize. In the past, they’ve actually received quite well.
